The taster day is designed to give you a small slice of salon life . The day runs from 9am-3.30pm . You can pick a day that suits Tuesday -saturday. The day begins with introductions , health and safety and a run down of what is booked in for the day. Then its a no holds barred insight into working in a salon environment.

The diploma courses run from 9am-3.30pm and are 28 days practical training in salon. Both diploma courses have a theoretical component that should be completed before practical training commences. The first week will be devoted to bathing and drying and, getting a feel for the equipment. You will encounter a large variety of dog breeds and styles . On the remaining days you will be allocated one dog in the morning and one in the afternoon for you to groom with time to plan before the grooming commences and to write up the process afterwards .

We offer specialised training in several areas from hand stripping and scissoring to handling difficult dogs and understanding canine body language and behaviour.
